To increase the participation of minorities in Earth Sciences Application and related fields, the Department of Advanced Technologies
is collaborating with Waterways Experiment Station to provide internship for GIS students. The Department is currently providing
$3,250.00 per student per semester. Kimberly Howard, Sidney Blankenship and Tawane Burks have been selected for the Internship Program
in Vicksburg. The Department still has 2 job vacancies. Advanced Technologies student are encouraged to apply by submitting their resume.
This project is funded by NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration).
