||Alcorn State University's Educators and Academic Technology Administrators will present the work at the Conference for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning at Statesboro Georgia. The proposal submitted by Mr. Prashant Shinde, Director Academic Technologies, Dr. Jyotirmay Gadewadikar, and Dr. Ognjen Kuljaca has been accepted after an international review process. The conference will have presentations from 16 countries.
The presentation titled "Development of Demonstrative Control System Design Engineering Technology Curriculum in a Distance E-Learning Environment" illustrates a test bed for an internet based control laboratory for a Distance Education hardware Design Class. A live demonstration by the Alcorn State University will be done in the 45 minute presentation session so that attendees around the world appreciate the impact of this technique, which in turn can be used to implement and customize the methods in attendees’ curricula.
The conference brings together people engaging in Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. The conference epitomizes that college teaching is intellectual work that is enhanced both by disciplinary scholarship and the scholarship on teaching the disciplines.
